Nchima Nchinto SC  (Chairman)

Nchima Nchito is a senior legal practitioner enjoying the rank and dignity of State Counsel. He was admitted to practice law in Zambia in 1987 and is an experienced Advocate. Nchima holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Zambia. He has extensive experience in litigation, corporate advisory and commercial law. He is an active member of the Institute of Directors and has been involved in the promotion of integrity among professionals in the private and public sector.

Nchima has an interest in development issues and devotes time helping Non-Governmental Organisations involved in up lifting livelihood and education. He has represented, worked with and sat on the Boards of various non-profit organisations over the years.

In addition to the financial sector, Samuel Ngosa Chabuka is a Degree holder in Accountancy from the Copperbelt University and an entrepreneur who has passion for service. He worked for Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (ZANACO) for 22 (1995-2017). In 2009, he pursued a course in Management Accounting where he obtained an advanced diploma in Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Esquire Enterprises Limited which is involved in agency business commercial banks and mobile money for two (2) years now. He is also involved in foreign exchange trading and he set up a bureau called Sam Bureau in 2018. Mr. Chabuka is the current treasurer of the ZRDF Board of Trustees and has served for a year now. He is also seeks to uplift vulnerable people out of poverty through agriculture, entrepreneurship, better education and improved awareness and prevention of HIV and AIDS.

Dr Denis Chiwele

Dr. Dennis Chiwele holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Zambia (UNZA). He has a Masters in International Relations specialized in International Economics from the International University of Japan. He holds a Doctorate in Philosophy (DPhil Development Economics). Dr. Chiwele worked as a Principal Economist for Prices and Incomes Commission for 8 years (1984-1992). He later joined UNZA as a Research Fellow in 1994 at the Institute of Economic and Social Research. After leaving UNZA in 1999, he founded and is the executive Director of RuralNet Associated Limited which is a rural development advisory consultancy firm. In 2014, he was recruited and is still on a part-time basis as Country Manager for the International Growth Center Zambia (IGCZ). He is passionate about sustainable rural development, consultancy, offering advice to the government, NGOs (local and foreign), and academic research as he has helped manage development in the agricultural sector.

Patricia Napier MBE

Patricia has been involved with Zambia for fifty years. She first visited the country in 1970 when for two years, as a qualified nurse/midwife, she ran a rural health centre on the edge of the Gwembe Escarpment. Thereafter, she was a Trustee of a UK charity working in various parts of rural Zambia. In 1996, she established a new UK registered charity The Baynards Zambia Trust (BZT), to provide funding and support to the predecessor of ZRDF. BZT is currently the largest donor to ZRDF. With the support of UK donors, BZT has grown over the past 24 years and has been able to remit to Zambia a total of £2.3m.

Colin Williams OBE

Colin has over 30 years experience in East and Southern Africa, in building and managing civil society programmes, addressing rural and urban poverty and specific social challenges such as HIV and AIDS. He has held senior executive positions at country and international level in major international organisations (including ActionAid, DFID, IDE and the Egmont Trust) and has founded, supported and mentored a range of innovative local initiatives across Africa. Currently based in UK and Southern Africa he holds an MA from Carleton University, Canada and was awarded a OBE by the British government in 2002 for his services in Africa.
