ZRDF works in conjunction with the Government Department of Health at clinics and health posts as well as with the communities.

ZRDF’s objectives are to reduce the HIV infection rate and secondly to support those who are positive. The current plans for 2020/22 include:

• Conduct community health awareness programmes and campaigns reaching over 21,000 people.

• Conduct school health programs across the schools reaching over 6,000 pupils.

• Conduct HIV testing and counselling reaching 9,500 people. 

• Collaborate with 700 HIV champions living positively.

• Facilitate the production of menstrual hygiene kits to girls in the 18 schools.

• Introduce more enhanced family planning services.
